Honesty the best policy for songs too

People often ask me what music I listen to, and what music I love. Being a muso, I am always fascinated by what’s playing on the radio, what new music is out there and try to listen to all sorts. But the music I listen to when I get home and pour myself a big glass of wine is pretty specific. I love music that’s honest, a little bit raw and that speaks from the heart. The songs you live you life to- when you are happy or sad. I think listeners can hear genuine. This is maybe the reason why amongst the all the glitzy auto-tuned pop it was not Justin Bieber, but Adele who, so far, has had the top album of 2011…
